Our ATM Deposit Balancing Solution is designed around Unisys capture devices and offer an integrated ATM envelope processing and workflow management. We apply latest technology to automate the majority of the processes involved to offer a solution optimized end to end. This user friendly solution also offers a broad scope for customization to suit the needs of an individual financial institution.
The ATMs typically spray endorse the envelopes with a unique transaction number at the time of deposit. Avalon’s ATM solution interfaces to Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) technology to capture the endorsed transaction number from the image of the envelope. This highly advanced ICR technology automatically adjusts to maximize read rate for the type and size of spray.
Avalon’s solution interfaces to the financial institution’s ATM teller system and stores the ATM transactions in a database. As envelopes are captured and the unique transaction numbers are picked by the ICR process, and a majority of them are automatically matched to the teller system transactions. A sophisticated image-based balancing tool is used to match the remaining unmatched transactions easily.
