The ImagePro21 Image Reject Re-entry application is an interactive program for re-entering MICR code lines at a Windows-based PC. The image of each item is displayed above the codeline correction fields. This application is used to compare the image codeline and correct the rejects in the Unisys IPS/ICPS or IBM CPCS legacy payment system.
Used along with the Avalon TTS Reject Encode process to encode the reject items, the IRR product greatly reduces the labor-intensive activities involved in, and improves the processing workflow for, reject items.
The user-friendly and fully-featured IRR application is capable of the following:
Image Assisted Reject Re-entry
Images captured during Prime Pass are used to assist with the reject re-entry.
Improved Workflow
The ability to process item reject re-entry in multiple prime jobs/entries, based on time of capture or configurable prioritization of work. The operator can be automatically prompted with the next block of work for priority jobs/entries. Multiple operators can process different blocks of the same job/entry, at the same time.
Image Manipulation
The image view can be manipulated in a variety of ways: zoom, rotate, or flip. Specific reject codes can be configured to a custom default view. For example, reject code 92 can be configured to display the image upside down, to reduce the amount of keystrokes the operator must perform.
Intelligent Character Recognition
IRR includes a sophisticated ICR functionality that reads E13B MICR line located on the item. Items are scanned in all locations, bottom and top on front and rear of the item, to locate and read the code line. Flipped, up-side down, or stripped items are sensed and correctly presented to the operator or optionally submitted automatically for sort pattern lookup and update.
Operator Statistics
The application accumulates operator and job statistics during the operator logon period and saves them on the workstation. These statistics may then be accessed by the separate Statistics Manager program for reporting and analysis purposes. Statistics, including volume, throughput by work type and operator, are collected and maintained. Reports are generated for daily, weekly, monthly or year to date reporting. |
